In Branson MO, there are over 100 theaters and over 150 acts going on; on any given night. To even begin to reflect what is going on in the Branson Music Scene would be a full time job. We however try to find some outstanding highlights!
Going out this one recent November Saturday evening, as any Branson Vacation would have it, we came upon a music find.
There is music in Branson that does cater to the “older” retired crowd, as well as the unparalelled offering of Country Music. On this particular night we found a band playing at the Outback Pub, on the Branson Strip.
The Outback Pub has two rooms, one in the basement, and one upstairs that opens up to the deck outside. Both offer a different type of music as well as atmosphere. As we migrated up the stairs after seeing the Arkansas game on the screens in the lower room, we found a band playing that we sat and thoroughly enjoyed.
Jessica Rabbit Revealed - Branson Music Attraction
The band’s name is “Jessica Rabbit Revealed”. It is for the younger crowd. The lead singer and excellent guitarist is a local, and a very young and talented Amanda Helms. She can solo too, as she handles the lead vocals as well as primary accompanyment on guitar. She is joined by Drew Webber and Todd Plympton on string bass and lead guitar. They are both professional musicians and sounded great as well, the three making a compelling trio to listen to!
