About Veterans Memorial Museum

Veterans Memorial Museum has found an ideal location in Branson, Missouri, a place that proudly showcases its patriotism. This destination offers a genuine respect and gratitude for the brave individuals who have selflessly served in various military branches. The Museum pays tribute to these heroes through over 2,000 exhibits that honor American soldiers and their sacrifices during conflicts such as WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and more recent wars.

The vision behind the Veterans Memorial Museum comes from the esteemed bronze sculptor, Fred Hoppe, who gathered thousands of artifacts for the museum's opening. Since then, numerous items have been added as veterans and their families have contributed to the collection within the expansive 18,000 square foot space. Returning guests will be delighted to see Hoppe’s remarkable sculpture depicting 50 soldiers landing on a beach, each representing a real-life hero, now prominently displayed outside the museum. Additionally, another of Hoppe's inspiring sculptures is showcased in the Memorial Garden at the intersection of Highway 76 and Roark Valley Road, welcoming visitors to Branson’s vibrant Strip.

Within the Veterans Memorial Museum, ten distinct halls present exhibits dedicated to various wars and conflicts. Visitors can explore a rich array of sculptures, artifacts, murals, memorabilia, and artworks, all meticulously arranged to narrate the stories behind each piece. A poignant highlight of your visit will be the names inscribed on the walls, honoring soldiers who lost their lives in action during WWII, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, and other significant 20th-century conflicts.
