Branson Veterans Week 2026 runs from Thursday, November 5 to Wednesday, November 11. Veterans Village is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from November 5 to 10, and the week closes with the 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Branson at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11.
This guide walks through the week one day at a time. For each date it lists the veterans events that are actually on the published calendars, then what you can book around them. Every Veterans Week event below was checked against the organizers’ own calendars on November 4, 2026. Where a day has nothing scheduled, we say so rather than filling the gap. For everything else in town, start with the Vacation Branson trip planner.
Two organizations lead the week’s main events. Branson Veterans of America 913 leads the parade, and the Branson Veterans Task Force runs Veterans Village and the ceremonies around it. As of November 4, the Task Force calendar lists Veterans Village, the Navy Memorial Service, the Medic Nurses and Combat Veterans Reunion and the Women Veterans Rose Petal Ceremony. The free Veterans Celebration Show, which the Task Force calls a beloved tradition, is marked cancelled for 2026, and the Veteran Honor Tree Lighting has no date yet.

| Wed, Nov 11 | 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade | 11 a.m. | Downtown Branson |
Thursday, November 5: Veterans Village Opens
Thursday is the opening day of Veterans Week, and Veterans Village opens at 9 a.m. at Ballparks of America. The free Veterans Celebration Show is listed as cancelled for 2026 on the Task Force calendar, so the Village is the one Veterans Week event on Thursday.
Veterans Village
The Task Force website calls Veterans Village “the heart of Veterans Week”, and it is the one fixture that runs every day from Thursday to Tuesday. It sits in Buildings 2 and 3 at Ballparks of America, 1000 Pat Nash Drive, and opens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Veterans can refresh in the Day Room, have lunch in the Mess Hall and browse up to 40 vendors.
Because it is open six days running, you do not need to spend your arrival day there. The rest of this itinerary treats a Village visit as an easy morning option and plans the other hours of each day around it.
Thursday evening
The Christmas season is already running by the first night of Veterans Week. Sight and Sound Theatres opened Miracle of Christmas on November 3, and it runs to December 31, 2026, at 1001 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. Tickets for Miracle of Christmas can be booked through Vacation Branson.
Friday, November 6: Navy Memorial Service and the Medic Reunion
Friday carries two Task Force events, both at Westgate Branson Woods, 2201 Roark Valley Road. The Navy Memorial Service runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., and the Medic Nurses and Combat Veterans Reunion follows from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Veterans Village is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in between.
Navy Memorial Service
The morning service centers on what the Task Force describes as “a traditional two-bell tolling ceremony to remember and respect our U.S. Navy heroes”. It is an early start, so if you are staying for the service it makes sense to book lodging for Thursday night rather than driving in on Friday morning.
Medic Nurses and Combat Veterans Reunion
The afternoon reunion is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. It is held at the same resort as the morning service, which leaves the middle of the day free for Veterans Village or lunch.
Friday evening
Friday, November 6 is also opening night for The Shepherd of the Hills’ Trail of Lights, a drive-through Christmas lights route that runs through January 2, 2027. On Fridays and Saturdays it opens from dusk to 11 p.m., and the operator lists pricing per carload rather than per person, which suits a family or a group of veterans sharing one car.
Saturday, November 7: Rose Petal Ceremony and Silver Dollar City’s Christmas Opening
Saturday’s veterans event is the Women Veterans Rose Petal Ceremony and Luncheon, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Grand Pavilion, 2201 Roark Valley Road. It is also the opening day of Silver Dollar City’s An Old Time Christmas, so Saturday pairs the park’s Christmas opening with the Rose Petal Ceremony.
Women Veterans Rose Petal Ceremony and Luncheon
It is the Task Force’s tribute to women veterans, with registration through its events page, and it falls in the middle of the day. If you are attending, plan the morning at Veterans Village, which opens at 9 a.m., and keep the late afternoon and evening for something else.
An Old Time Christmas opens
Silver Dollar City opens An Old Time Christmas on November 7, 2026, and the season runs to January 2, 2027, with what the park describes as over 6.5 million lights. The lights are the reason to go, so arriving in the afternoon after the luncheon and staying past dark fits Saturday well. Book Silver Dollar City tickets ahead for an opening day. The park does not open every day: it is closed on Tuesday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 11, so plan your visit for the Saturday, Sunday or Monday of Veterans Week.
If you would rather see which other holiday productions are open during Veterans Week, our guide to what Christmas shows are on in Branson in 2026 lists each show’s opening date, and shows how few of them are running in the first week of November.
Sunday, November 8: A Quieter Day for the Veterans Memorial Museum
As of November 4, Veterans Village is the only Veterans Week event listed for Sunday, November 8. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. With nothing else scheduled, Sunday is the natural day for the Veterans Memorial Museum on West 76 Country Boulevard, which opens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.

The museum describes itself as ten great halls covering the wars and conflicts of the 20th century, from World War I through the Persian Gulf. A large bronze sculpture of soldiers storming forward stands in front of the building at 1250 West 76 Country Boulevard.
The museum’s own price list includes a discounted rate for a veteran with ID and their spouse, and a lower rate again for active military with ID and spouse. It also says there are many special admission prices during Veterans Homecoming Week, November 5 to 11. Prices change, so confirm them on the day. You can book Veterans Memorial Museum tickets through Vacation Branson. Monday to Saturday it opens from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., so it also works on any other day of the week.
For more patriotic stops around town, our guide to visiting Branson for America’s 250th covers the tribute shows and veteran-owned attractions that run through the year, beyond the week itself.
Monday, November 9: Village Hours and an Evening Show
Monday, November 9 has no Veterans Week event on the published calendar beyond Veterans Village, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ballparks of America. With only Veterans Village on the posted calendar, it is a good day to book attractions and shows.
A practical way to use Monday is a Village morning, an afternoon attraction and an evening show. Browse the Branson attractions list for daytime options, then pick an evening from the full Branson shows listing. Early November sits between the fall and Christmas seasons, so check each show’s own dates before you commit.
Nothing we could verify on November 4 is scheduled for this date, and we have not carried forward any event from a previous year. For the rest of the month, our week-by-week guide to Branson in November lists what is open around the Veterans Week dates.
Tuesday, November 10: Last Day of Veterans Village
Tuesday, November 10 is the final day of Veterans Village, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. No other Veterans Week event is listed for Tuesday yet. If the parade is your reason for coming, Tuesday is the night to arrive, because the parade steps off at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Arriving by Tuesday afternoon gives you the last Village day, an evening meal and a full night’s sleep before a morning in Downtown Branson. It also means you are not driving in on parade morning.
For Tuesday dinner, our guide on where to eat in Branson sorts restaurants by meal, mood and budget. If you want to stay close to the parade the next day, Craigg’s Cold Cuts is on West Main Street downtown. Confirm its hours before you go, as we could not verify its Veterans Week schedule.
Wednesday, November 11: The 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade
Veterans Day brings the 94th Annual Veterans Day Parade to Downtown Branson at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Branson Veterans of America 913 leads it and describes it as “the oldest continuing parade of its kind in America”. It is the final event of Veterans Week.

Expect veterans’ groups, marching bands and community entries making their way through downtown. The route is published only as an image, so we have not described it here. Check the organizer’s route map before you pick a spot, and arrive well ahead of 11 a.m. if you want a place at the front. The Branson Veterans Day Parade event listing keeps the date and start time in one place.
Because Veterans Day falls on a Wednesday this year, anyone who wants to see the parade has to be in Branson on Wednesday morning. That usually means a Tuesday night stay at the least. After the parade, you can start the drive home or make one more stop.
If you are staying on, Wednesday afternoon and evening pair well with the Christmas season that opened during the week. The Trail of Lights drive opens at dusk every night of the week, and Miracle of Christmas is in its run through December 31 (check its showtimes for Wednesday), so the parade and a holiday evening can fit into one day. Silver Dollar City is closed on Wednesday, November 11, so save the park for earlier in the week.
Some visitors stay on into the rest of November. If that is you, our guide to Thanksgiving in Branson covers what is open over the holiday two weeks later.
Booking the Week: Nights, Lodging and Tickets
The number of nights you need depends on which events matter to you. For the parade alone, stay Tuesday night. For the Friday and Saturday ceremonies plus the parade, stay the nights of Thursday through Tuesday, six nights in all.
Where to stay
Start with the full list of places to stay in Branson, which covers hotels, condos and motels. For a longer Veterans Week stay, a condo such as Thousand Hills Golf Resort gives a group more room across six nights. For a shorter parade trip, a hotel such as Thousand Hills Resort Hotel is simpler.
If you are still deciding between areas of town, our guide to the best part of Branson to stay in compares them. You can also book direct with Thousand Hills Resort Hotel on its own site.
Shows, attractions and package deals
Check each Veterans Week event with its organizer for any sign-up or cost; the tickets you book in advance are for the shows and attractions around them. The current Branson deals page lists package offers, including the Branson Freedom Pass, which bundles four show tickets with four bonus activity tickets while supplies last.
For a wider choice of show seats, you can also browse Branson Show Tickets. If you would rather plan the week by phone, call Vacation Branson on (877) 336-8992.
