Dessert in Branson divides between places that exist only for it and restaurants whose pudding course is worth planning around.

In the first camp: The Pie Hole, Sweets and Smiles Bakery, the Sweet Shack, Cold Stone Creamery, YOLO Rolled Ice Cream and The Yard Milkshake Bar, which builds shakes that function as a whole meal. Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Steamy Joe Cafe sit at the lighter end.

In the second: The Worman House Bistro, Osage Restaurant and Devil’s Pool Restaurant at Big Cedar all run proper dessert menus, and Buzzard Bar and Mountain Top Grill are worth a stop on their own. Uncle Buck’s Fish Bowl & Grill is the family option.

If frozen is specifically what you want rather than baked, the ice cream list runs to seventeen places including custard stands and parlours, and overlaps only slightly with this one.
