Branson’s adventure attractions are the counterweight to its theaters – the reason a trip here works for teenagers as well as grandparents.
Twenty-two attractions are gathered on this page. Silver Dollar City is the anchor: an 1880s-themed park with genuine roller coasters and a craft-demonstration side most theme parks do not attempt. White Water is its water-park sibling. Ziplines and canopy tours run at Shepherd of the Hills – the Vigilante Extreme ZipRider, the 8-Lines Canopy Tour and the Sky Trek Challenge ropes course – and at Branson Zipline’s Ozarks Explorer. Copperhead Mountain Coaster and Runaway Mountain Coaster are gravity-driven alpine coasters. Fritz’s Adventure is an indoor climbing and obstacle complex that earns its keep on a rainy day, WonderWorks an upside-down science attraction, and Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure a gentler indoor option. Several museums and the VIP Tours guided food, sightseeing and holiday-lights tours also appear here.
Two practical notes. The coasters and ziplines carry height and weight limits, so check them before promising a child a ride. And winter hours shorten considerably at the outdoor attractions – the individual pages are the place to confirm before you build a day around one.

White Water

Branson Zipline – Snowflex Tubing
Branson Zipline’s Snowflex Tubing brings year-round winter-style fun to the Ozarks’ Wolfe Mountain! History of Fishing Museum
The History of Fishing Museum offers Branson, Missouri a fascinating display dedicated to one of America’s favorite pastimes! A collection of more than 40,000 pieces valued at more than $5 million, the Museum features many unique items, including the first version of popular fishing items still in use today. The impressive horde includes rods, reels, boats, lures, motors, and other fishing-related items, as well as aquatic dinosaur bones and fish fossils.
Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower
Branson’s Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower is aptly named, it’s presence on the horizon is truly an inspiring sight! Guests can take one of the two glass-enclosed elevators to the sizable, enclosed observation deck for the best views you’ll find anywhere in the area. With a 360-degree view, a clear day allows visibility from the 230-foot tower of up to an astonishing 90 miles away!
