Reeds Spring

Reeds Spring is north-west of Branson on the route out toward Table Rock Lake, and its twelve restaurants are firmly local – this is where people who live in the area eat rather than a visitor strip.

Mid-town Cafe, Donnie’s Diner and Dinkys Diner are the small-town diner backbone. Vino Cellars at the Lake is the one to know about for a slower dinner with a wine list. Lakeside Restaurant Resort & General Store combines the two functions the way lake communities often do. Pizza is unusually well covered for a town this size – Sharkys Pizza, Reeds Spring Pizza Co. and Parmesan Pizzeria – and Chopstix Fine Chinese Cuisine and Shanghai Star give it two Chinese options. Pop’s Dari Dell handles ice cream.

If you are staying on the lake, this list pairs naturally with Branson West and Kimberling City – the three together cover most of the western side.
